The Canadian outpost cabin - truly a unique experience. If you visit northwestern Ontario, our Member outfitters can fly you in to some of the best fishing in Canada. You'll hop aboard a float plane and take off into the remote Canadian wilderness. Enjoy the bird's eye view as you cruise over stands of boreal forest broken up by countless lakes. Trophy fishing awaits in these remote regions as lakes teem with walleye, bass, lake and brook trout, northern pike and muskie. In Ontario, you can "own" a wilderness lake for 7 days. Your outpost cabin is the only one on the lake, there are no roads and absolutely no other people. Fish the lake for seven days without seeing another angler. Now that's a unique travel experience!
There are over 70,000 lakes in this part of Ontario and most are not accessible by road. Outpost cabins connect you to these far away places and offer up truly great Canadian fishing. Fly-in fishing packages range from 4 to 7 days. You can also do fly in moose or bear hunts in Northwestern Ontario. Access remote wildlife management units inaccessible by road. Boat, motors and gas, as well as your flight in to the remote cabin are included in the package price. Guides are also available on hunting trips. Most outfitters charge their guests on a per person rate based on the chosen length of stay. Contact them for help in choosing the right trip for your group.
